भारतीय वायुसेना दिन दरवर्षी ८ ऑक्टोबर रोजी साजरा केला जातो.
या दिवशी १९३२ मध्ये भारतीय वायुसेनेची अधिकृत स्थापना झाली होती.
भारतीय वायुसेना (IAF) ही जगातील चौथी सर्वात मोठी वायुसेना मानली जाते आणि तिचे ब्रीदवाक्य आहे —

🛩️ इतिहास / History of Indian Air Force
ब्रिटिश कालावधीत रॉयल इंडियन एअर फोर्स (RIAF) म्हणून ८ ऑक्टोबर १९३२ रोजी वायुसेनेची स्थापना झाली.
स्वातंत्र्यानंतर १९५० मध्ये भारत प्रजासत्ताक झाल्यावर तिचे नाव भारतीय वायुसेना (IAF) असे ठेवण्यात आले.
In the beginning, the IAF had only a few officers and aircraft. Over time, it grew into one of the most powerful air forces in the world, equipped with advanced fighter jets, helicopters, and missile systems.
